Does anyone know United Airlines fare codes and what they stand for? Or
have a suggestion as to where I could find the information?

Thanks,

As with many airlines, the fare codes differ by market (meaning domestic
codes vary slightly from overseas codes).

http://www.mileagerunner.com/content/flying/airlines/united/fareclasses.htm
has a list, but not a real description. I mostly deal with T, S, W and A,
which are contract fare classes.

Of the fare classes, Y, B, and F have the most flexibility but cost the
most. A will cost significantly less than F (sometimes 1/2 as much), but
will be more like a coach ticket in terms of restrictions.

It's about a year old, but it's still a great source of information for
United Fare codes:
