Hello,
My family and I are looking for a Guest House in Cape May, New Jersey - not
for now... we plan for summer 2008 ;-) . I have see a lot of it on the web,
but would like to have suggestions and comments from the persons that have
use it.
Essentially, we are looking for 2 bedrooms, kitchen, clean, no noise. The
rate ? : arround 1500-1600$ US for a week (7 days and nights). We don't care
if it's near or far of the beach.
Thanks in advance !

Hi
I have no personal experince with places in that area, but if you check
into vacation rentals by owner, most will be able to let you contact
previous renters. Sometimes previous renters will send in commentary
about the house, and VRBO.com (has a person who) does check places out
themselves. It will be marked as such

You are probably better off contacting a local real estate agent in that
area. What's what some friends and I did when we rented a summer house
in Cape May several years ago. To find a real estate agent and other
info about the South Jersey area, check the web site at

Generally speaking, at New Jersey Shore resort communities many people
put their rental downpayment on a house by December the previous year or
January for that year's Summer season. If you find something of
interest do not wait thinking the rates will get lower.
As an alternative to Cape May, you might want to look into Ocean Grove
or Spring Lake.
