Is there anything in particular you like doing? If you just want generic
tourist information, try www.gocalif.com

You want a complete list, or just random samples?

Almost everything Las Vegas has to offer can also be gotten at Lake Tahoe
which is surrounded by spectacular beauty as opposed to desert and Tahoe has
skiing! And the drive into California from Lake Tahoe is much more
picturesque than entering California from Las Vegas. KM

I think Vegas would be a great headquarters for your vacation. The
hotel lobbies have fliers for several tours. You can sign up at the
front desk and the tour company will send a shuttle bus for you.
I remember them offering these day trips:
Grand Canyon. The shuttle bus takes you to an airport where you board
a commuter plane and view the Grand Canyon and Colorado river from
above. A tour bus picks you up in Arizona and stops at a few
locations along the Grand Canyon so that you can get some photos.
There are also helicopter tours (with glass bottom cockpits) that can
land inside the canyon. Or you can take a mule ride down and stay
overnight as a guest of an Indian tribe that lives in the Canyon.
Hoover dam
Visiting a deserted ghost town (from the Gold Rush?)
visiting Death Valley
Another trip flies you to Anaheim to spend the day at Disneyland
There are also kayaking and white water rafting trips to the Colorodo
river.
There are probably a lot more...those are just the ones I remember.

The site of the once-upon-a-time phone booth in the middle of nowhere in the
Mojave. They took the booth away as it was becoming too well-known, but I
think the concrete pad is still there. This is somewhere south of I-15 in
the Mojave National Preserve.
And of course, the real middle of nowhere, NowHere, high noon on the playa
in Nevada. No trace left, but you can be
where it was.
C'mon babe. You can do it, babe, you can do it.
You cutie in your fuzZy yellow sweater, you!

Nevada and California are huge states. Any intelligent answer to your
question requires that we know the time of year you plan to make this
trip, where in California and Nevada you plan to visit, your interests,
and your budget. All the information about popular tourist sites in both
states can easily be looked up on the web.

Many folks have a good time at Simone de Paris in Winnemucca.
