Can you clarify? Who needs to, and does Princess only provide the means
to get there for those who purchase the transfers? -JM

We were just on the line with Princess and our TA this morning
discussing this very same question as we are on the Pacific Princess
Oct 18th-25th.My specific question was, as we are booked Omni Air to
and from LAX do we have to go through this procedure?
We were assured by both Princess and my TA that we stay on the ship
until evening and are then transferred one time to the airport for
check-in and departure. We paid for the Princess transfers.

Just for your information,I do read CC regularly and follow the Pacific
and Tahitian Princess threads. How do you think I found out about this
Papeete transfer topic and Omni Air. Believe me, my TA and Princess
better be correct in their information or they're toast! I've already
tried to request an air deviation to ATN when we found out we were on
Omni Air and was told not available! What else do you suggest since you
seem to be so knowledgable!

We were on the July 22nd sailing of the Tahitian Princess, we were not
Omni but knew other people that were. They went that morning and said
it went quickly. We were ATN and only went to the airport once. It is
not air condtioned.

O.K. Chuck so you can have to have the last word on this subject.
When I refer to my TA and Princess being "toast" I mean I can choose
not have any further dealings with them period, It's that simple. I can
make that choice if I wish to as a customer!
As far as going out twice to the airport, so be it.
And far as judging Omni Air is concerned I am sure I can make my own
observations first hand and add the appropriate comments later.
Over and Out!
