My wife and I are thinking of going on our 1st cruise in October. We're
thinking about a weekend cruise out of Miami to the Bahamas.
Where's the best place to look for good last minute deals? We have a house
in FL as well as MN? Are there better deals to be had in the Miami area or
should we look in MN (or on the internet).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

No, you can find the best deals in the oddest places -- Utah,
California, Arkansas, North Carolina, etc. etc. Miami has NO
advantage for a cruise departing from Miami, whatsoever.
Post a reverse ad on www.cruisemates.com is an excellent way. Pick
your cruise and cabin level before you do so for the best information.
Also, I suggest contacting the various TA's who post here asking for
quotes. This procedure will get you the best combination of price and
service possible.

We have also seen many good deals on Cruise Bazaar
http://www.cruisebazaar.com.
In fact they use the same software as best price cruises only with
different price structure.

If you are at all flexible with your travel, there are some interesting ones

I have found the very best deals on cruises-n-more.com, and have used them
in the past without any problems.
