I know this doesn't have a direct connection to cruising other than
flying to ports; but did anyone catch the series "Airline" on A&E,
Monday night? It is about Southwest airlines, which is the airline we
fly on the most. I thought it was a pretty good show. I especially like
the show about the power failure at the airports. Really makes you
appreciate the work of the folks behind the counters and shows how sorry
some passengers can really be. Looking forward to seeing the show next week.

One of the better things in life that I have done was to suggest to Danni a
couple years ago when she had a few bucks to invest that she but LUV
(Southwest Airlines).

Given the shape of the airline industry, LUV has proven that you can make
money even in a bad economy, and although we fly US Airways out of
Philadelphia all of the time because of our frequent flier miles, we welcome
Southwest to Philadelphia as an alternative.
