I sighted a copy of "NZ Geographic" (date not noticed, and cost AUS$14.95 !) in
a suburban Sydney newsagency yesterday, and it had an article on the
Catlins.....

Thanks but I prefer self-exploration. Travelling with 3 toddlers will throw
spanner into any tight scheduling. So I have decided to book a good motel
for the whole family and spend about 3 days at Catlins.
