Hi
My husband and I were issued with Permanant Residency Visa's subclass
136 in 2001. We lived, worked and got married in Australia between Sep
2001 and Sep 2002.
Due to a variety of personal reasons and me not being able to get a
teaching job in Sydney we returned to the Uk after the year and have
since not returned to Australia.
Our visas now expire this July and we wanted to know if you thought we
were eligable under any grounds to apply for a RRV, or at anytime in
the future would be able to apply for one. At present we are not in a
position to return to Australia but wanted to know if we had any chance
to in the future.
My husband also has a supernnuation fund in Australia that is worth
quite a lot of money and we wanted to know if we are not going to be
entitled to a RRV and will have therefore left Australia permanatly if
we can apply to withdraw the superannuation funds.
We would appreicate any advice you can give us.
Many Thanks,
Kate Firth
