For those that missed seeing all the impending doom and gloom in the
Thailand visa situation, here is a link to new proposals that are due to
be made law and put into effect by July next year.

The latest on visa regulations will be posted in Chiang Mai Trader News
which is due out around the 15th of each month, or shortly thereafter.

Ouch!! I read the article, and I wonder if the impetus has anything to
do with the child sex trade that flourishes in Thailand? I wouldn't
think Thailand would be a country where illegal immigration runs
rampant.

You'd be wrong. It's cheap and beautiful and many thousands of westerners
are living there without residency clearance.
