Hi, I've been a lurker here for a while reading what all of you have
to say and all.

I have a flight out of JFK on Monday - I have to be honest, this is my
first flight since 9/11 - I last flew in 1997.. I am alittle weary of
it and was wondering how good [you think] the secuerity is at Kennedy.

Also, any good/bad reviews about JetBlue?

Thanks!
Bobby

Pretty much every person I know who has flown Jet Blue has sworn it will be
the only airline they will ever fly again. Each for a different reason, a
couple of weeks ago a co-worker flew them for a wedding, and totally loved
the ability to watch food TV for 8 hours.

There are no problems with security at Kennedy, just make sure you don't
have anything to give them reason to stop you and have all the metal off of
your body and you should go right through.

Make sure you don't have anything of value in your suitcase pockets, Kennedy
is the only airport I've ever had anything taken from (Air France) from my
suitcase.

Its really no big deal, other than longer lines. Just arrive at the
airport to check-in at the time that's recommended on your airline
ticket and don't carry any banned items with you and be coorporative
with the TSA security guards. Your airline's web site and the TSA web
site at http://www.tsa.gov have all the info you need on this subject,
including a list of items that cannot be carried on.
