So here she is on Al Go "I hear he has a small carbon footprint.
You know what they say about men with a small carbon footprint. Mind
you, at 400 pounds, he probably can't see any footprint."

On John Edwards: "I was going to have a few comments on the other
Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you
have to go into rehab if you use the word faggot."

On Barack Obama: "I refer to him as B. Hussein Obama. He's half-white
and half-black, half-Christian and half-Muslim and half-atheist.
Something there for every Democrat."

On Bill Clinton: "He was called the first black president. Obama might
be half-black and half-white. Bill was half-white and half-trash."

On Hillary Clinton: "Hillary has already started to put together her
White House team. It has to be diverse. It has to have blacks and
whites and men and women. All sorts of women, as long as they aren't
called Monica."

They're generally reserved for lame, desperate attempts at humour, yes.

Coulter sounds increasingly shrill and frustrated with each passing day.
Note her infantile use of "B. Hussein Obama" in order to imply that
Barack's name is similar to Saddam's and bin Laden's so therefore he
must be just like them. Sad.

She operates very much on the same clutching-at-straws level as the
poster of the original article, the criminal Stephen Bach.

He wasn't calling her names he was describing her behaviour. Now when I
called her a witch I was calling her names.

Coulter would not be able to find a job in journalism in France since
she does slander, something the Pig knows how to do too.

Her stuff is manufactured to be offensive. In that sense she has
prostituted herself to get published.

There is a area of American journalism which amounts to professional
prostitution. I refer to the op-ed page of the Wall Street Journal
as the "whore house page" of American journalism since to get published
there you have to write stuff that is to the satisfaction of the right wing
editors. I have seen otherwise hones scholars write things that they would
not otherwise write, and in an intellectually contrived manner.

They don't do "intellectual diversity" in that part of the paper.
The NY Times will publish op-ed items which are not in agreement
with their editorial positions. They have a mixture of op-ed
journalists.

On the other hand the Wall Street Journal's reporters to good reporting,
often enough items which point out various serious problems in the financial
industry. They are not squashed by the editors. The WSJ diversity shows up
at that level and overall makes it a great newspaper, except for the
whoring.

It was two WSJ reporters who broke the story on Enron, which is exciting
stuff to read even today. The story of Enron also erodes at the right
wing idea that government should be taken off the backs of businessmen
so they can practice the market economy and produce all the fruits is
is supposed to be capable of. That erosion goes against the bias of their
editors and the political class it represents.

Earl Elfleth

As usual Earl has thing ass backwards.

A quick search immediately yields this "right wing" rant that appeard
in the Wall Street Journal by that "right wing" zealot, Al Hunt,
writing for the Wall Street Journal as one example:

"..The President's new budget, as Al Hunt pointed out in The Wall
Street Journal recently, cuts health insurance for poor children;
shifts "the major burden of funding" for toxic-chemical cleanups from
chemical companies to taxpayers; includes the smallest increase in
education spending in seven years; and cuts the Low-Income Home Energy
Assistance Program while funding the Crusader, an eighty-ton howitzer
designed to deter a Soviet invasion of Western Europe (and made by a
defense contractor whose advisers include George H.W. Bush). The
budget also seeks to make permanent the $1.3 trillion tax cut of 2001,
a step that would cost an additional $343 billion in the first year of
enactment and $4 trillion etc. etc..."

LOL!

Ann Coulter isn't much in the way of a "lady", anyway.

Op Ed [pages are sort of political inkblots. If you're a liberal,
they're right wing, if you're a conservative, they're left wing.
