London Heathrow Terminal 4 access from 7 January 2005

Info for people using Heathrow Terminal 4 from 7th January:

HEATHROW T4 Tube passengers should note that the Piccadilly Line service
from central London will be suspended from 7 January for a lengthy
period and will be replaced by a courtesy bus service from Hatton Cross.
The closure is to allow for completion of the Piccadilly line extension
to the new Terminal 5. Piccadilly Line services will continue to run
direct to and from central London to Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 & 3
station. The change will mean a slightly increased journey time to
Terminal 4 of five to ten minutes, but it will actually cut times to the
central area station. Any passengers travelling to and from T4 who may
have difficulty using the stairs at Hatton Cross should travel to
Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 & 3 and use the free Heathrow Express to reach
Terminal 4. When it comes into action during the spring the Heathrow
Connect local service to Ealing Broadway using the Heathrow Express
track will offer alternative access to T4.
