Tax info chart by state / city - any pointers?
 

I'm looking to move and would like a table/chart comparing the taxes in various states.I've "googled", tried Money magazine,
financial websites, federal.org etc and can't find a simple chart or dropdown table with info such as: State Income Tax rate, sales
tax, property tax (by City), excise tax , etc. Ideally a dropdown table so that I could choose, say ... Nevada, So Carolina and
Florida and have all items listed in columns to compare.

Anyone have a good URL with current info ?

Yes I did thanks, but it didn't tell me... Real Estate Taxes , etc (since it
goes by city), do they have excise tax on autos ? (like here in Mass )
Is the sales tax applied to everything? Food, clothing ?
I know I am being picky but that's why I was asking - very tedious to retrieve
it all indidvually. I just figure that the info is SOMEWHERE ?
Generally when I have a question , I'm not the first to ask it and was hoping
someone's already 'been there - done that'

I can get individual info by going to sites like:

and

But was looking for an easy comparison table/chart.

You won't find them all in one place. Sale tax for example varies by
county or city. Real estate tax is also similar. There are so many
regional variations that it's impossible to put them all in one place.

where you can coose " side by side comparison" to see avg income, unemployment rate

Manufacturing - % of all jobs 11.4% 4.7% 2.9%
Avg Wage Per Job $77,965 $45,215 $41,263

It would be a challenge to create a web site with the information. The only
probably would be how would it be maintained. You would have to constantly
check with all local agencies to see if rates have changed. I think what you
are asking for is not practical.

A few years ago I created a web site with Amtrak info. I did it for the fun
but there is no way I would want to keep maintaining it.
