Default All Inclusive or Not?

Oh no, not in North America (Mexico included). They changed that
about a year and half ago.
The Club Med Cancun is though at the end of the hotel strip.

True. For some, I feel I get even more value when alcohol is
included. In my younger years I could drink a lot at an AI resort,
but now, I probably can drink a few beer and some wine a day. The
only thing about non-alcoholic drinks at an AI resort is that I have
no idea what to order. If they advertise drinks, all the drinks are
alcoholic.

Which brings a question. What are some very good tropical drinks
(alcoholic or not) that one can ask for at an AI resort in Mexico?
