Carnival Cruise Lines -- an OSSN supplier member! - issued a new
policy this week banning passengers from bringing non-alcoholic drinks
(including bottled water, sodas, and juice) onboard its ships. Passengers
who carry specific beverages for medical reasons can present a note from
their doctor to be exempted from this rule. Royal Caribbean enforces a
similar policy already, and many cruise lines prohibit passengers from
carrying their own alcoholic beverages onboard as well.




Then again they banned the wine. Rum, vodka, & gin that I brought. I
suppose they would not be looking for the 2 12packs of soda and the two
bottles of tonic as well.

You might get unlucky but they didn't appear to be looking much last
Thanksgiving.
