Food Quality vs. Cruise Length
wrote:
We've cruised quite a bit over the years averaging 15 days per cruise
(some less some more). However our last 2 cruises have been 3-day
weekend things.
My impression of the food on these shorter cruises was that it was of
poorer quality than on the longer cruises we've taken.
The shorter cruises are known in the industry as the "booze cruises";
they are geared to a clientle that wants to drink and gamble more than
they want to eat or take shore excursions. So the food quality is
probably not as high as on the longer cruises.
Your milage may vary depending upon the time of year, the cruise line,
its reputation for good food, where in the world the ship is when it was
provisioned, and numerous other factors.
