Why do you keep going on about Ryanair? Gatwick is dominated by Easyjet
and BA, with only a small handfull Ryanair routes. And they don't fly
from Southend at all, that's something Easyjet are planning to do.

Indeed. When we flew Ryanair to Stockholm/Stavska we were leaving from
Cambridge and Stansted was far more convenient than LHR or LGW.
