Default AUD exchange rate?

Relative interest rates!!!

Australia's are among the highest in the developed world at the moment -
thus the punters buy AUD.

When either the RBA drops our rates, or the USA raises their interest
rates - the AUD will falter and fall (if the differential is high enough)!!

Plus there are a few other factors - inflation rate, political stability,
trade balances etc - probably not as significant as raw interest rates just
now!!

the US dollar has fallen compared to the AUD quite a bit ... any ideas

on
when/if there'll be a recovery?

your thoughts are appreciated?!

The TV news here in Oz keeps telling me that the AUD is at a 7 year

high.
Seems to me that the it is the AUD which is doing the recovering!
