Gee. Exactly the area where a heat seeking anti aircraft
missile would hit.


Fired by whom? In what scenario would someone in Iran shoot down a
civilian plane from a third country that had just taken off from the
Teheran airport? It's far more likely to have been a bird strike or
maintenance issue.

Press releases from Ukrainian airlines say that the plane was
registration number UR-PSR and it had last had routine maintenance on
Monday at its home airport in Kyiv.
