When you are smokers going to figure it out? Are you also a proponant
of public urination? As stupid an analogy as that may sound, its much
the same. Its not really a health hazard, but its downright disgusting
and it stinks. The same as smoking. You dont have the right to pee in
the casino, and now you cant smoke in most places. Its nothing to get
all excited about. Smoking is not a right, and just because there are
millions of smokers doesnt make it one. Why cant you have sex in
public? Its a natural thing. Everyone does it. But other people dont
like it. So you do it behind closed doors. It part of being a society.
So stop whining please. No one cares.

Ya got it all wrong. It was our decision to meet and enjoy the company
of Eileen and Howie though we knew they were smokers and we are not. We
also enjoyed the company of another guest who, too, was a non smoker. So
there
As a recovering smoker I never intruded into non-smoking territory but
often non smokers invaded mine, as I was smoking, waving their hands and
wrinkling their noses. .

SUNNY........We all have choices.
Lets take them

You've got to toughen up those lungs, ref. I would think that living in
one of the most polluted states in the nation, would have toughened you
up already.

You're in attack mode now, aren't you?

What is a recovering smoker? On a par as a recovering alcoholic,
recovering drug addictor etc. I have been a non smoker for 5 years.
Hopefully I will not go back to smoking. So IMO I am a recovering
smoker.
As for the other question I would never go into non smoking territory -
NO SMOKING _ when I smoked and light up a cigarette where many many
times non smokers have stationed themselves in a smoking section
complaining of the smoke, waving their hands and wrinkling their noses.
That really made me angry. When they saw smoke coming out of my ears
they sometimes, not always, left.

SUNNY..........Carnival's Pride was on the ball. They were on the watch
for smokers smoking in the no smoking areas and politely told them it
was a no no

If a non-smoker goes over to the smoking area, as she indicated, and

IS on a par with a smoker blowing smoke into the non-smokers area....

Yes and no. It's just as rude, but not as ill-making.

I was not thinking of a non-smoker going over to the smoker's side (as on a
Celebrity ship), but was thinking of the old scenario where smokers could smoke
most anywhere, and would sit down next to non-smokers and not only not move,
and not put out their cigarettes, but seemingly gleefully would blow smoke just
to irritate those around them.

I've never waved my arms around and made a fuss, but I do recall the awful days
when smoke was everywhere. Children, such as myself, grew up with that around
us. I'm glad kids (and adults) today don't have to tolerate that in
California, at least.

Wow, how erudite!! You sure your a college professor? You sound more
like a high school kid with 'roid rage.

I am sure that I will not sit back and accept insults from you or any
other ****wit about the choices that I make for myself. As you
associate public smoking with public urination, and I am a public smoker
who has absolutely no guilt or shame about my behavior, you will
understand me very well when I say that I **** on you.
