Choice of carrier, SFO-CDG, Bus class?
Reasonably priced one-stop Bus Class flights from San Francisco to Paris
seem to be available on Continental (via Newark), NWA (via Minneapolis), and US Airways (via Philadelphia). Any good reasons to prefer (or down-rank) any of these carriers relative to the others? Thanks for any advice. [There's also British Airways, but I've sworn a vow never to make any connection through Heathrow ever again.] |

Their J class product is very good: in some ways better than anything available, at any price, from a US- registered carrier. |

Try to avoid any carrier flying the A340, it's terrible. |

BA usually flies 747s and 777s on international routes. What's so terrible about the A340? I flew SEA-CPH on an SAS A340 last year, and didn't find it terrible at all; cattle-car class on the A340 wasn't worse than, say Austrian Airlines' 777 flying VIE-IAD. |

A340, it's terrible. The economics of the A340 are awful, but that's not evident to passengers. The interiors are entirely up to the airline. I've flown on A340 on AC and LH, both of which were perfectly acceptable. R's, John |
