AA Gold - Is this right ?
If I take all the flights I now have booked I should (finally) achieve AA
Glod status in Dec 05. My reading of the membership guide implies I only keep this status until Feb 06, This can't be right can it ? |

I believe your new status will start in Jan. 06. |

If your outbound brings you over the limit, you will be qualified on your return trip. -- Binyamin Dissen http://www.dissensoftware.com Should you use the mailblocks package and expect a response from me, you should preauthorize the dissensoftware.com domain. I very rarely bother responding to challenge/response systems, especially those from irresponsible companies. |

But what is AA Gold good for? In 2003, I got suckered by AA into taking its "fast track" offer (something like a few flights within 3 months) to be AA Platinum. I found the AA Platinum to be completely useless, and never flown it since I became Platinum. :-) Traded those few AA miles for Hilton points. -- Bob. |

Does AA give priority seating to Gold members (such as exit rows, and seats toward the front)? Alaska and UA do that for their frequent flyers. |
