You seem to be quite a defender of Schwarzenneger. Why don't YOU tell
us how he stand on all the issues facing California.

Why don't you read the issues comparisons in the newspaper or some other
source? Both the LA Times and SJ Mercury News, among others, have been
reporting this information.

All one hears from Schwarenegger is "trust me".

He has no solutions.

He is afraid to be questioned by various newspaper editorial boards
and has consistently refused to appear before them.

He appeared on the Larry King Show and refused to field questions from
callers.

He is afraid of being exposed as an ignoramus.

For anyone in the LA area, male, female or otherwise:

Vote for Arnold! Democrats suck, they've destroyed California.

Without commenting on your assertion that it's the Democrats who destroyed
California (or, for that matter, that California has, in fact, been
destroyed), is it your belief that any Republican, regardless of
qualification, position, etc., should be elected instead of a Democrat?

Actually, it might be best to elect a democrat and let him finish the
job...how bad does it have to get before people realize socialism does not
work?

There's no socialism in California. There is, however, an enormous deficit
created by the illegal acts of executives at Enron and other energy
companies. Do you think energy arbitrage is socialism?

Enron did it alone? California not socialist? Please. They don't call it
the People's Republic of California for nothing.
PTRAVEL, government is not the answer. Too much government is BAD.
With that said, I don't think Arnold or anyone can fix California's problems
quickly, but Arnold might be a start...
Gray Davis...ugh!

No, Enron conspired with a number of other energy companies. At least,
that's what the Justice Department says.

California not socialist?

That's right. All utilities are privatized and unregulated, as are health
care and other essential services.

Please. They don't call it
the People's Republic of California for nothing.

No one calls it the People's Republic of California except hyperbolic talk
show hosts.

PTRAVEL, government is not the answer.

To what? It's the answer to a lot of things: highways, fire departments,
military defense, police protection, safe food and drugs, and lots of other
things. It's not the answer to a lot of other things, chief among them
homogenized morality, religous preference, sexual conduct between consenting
adults and a host of other private activities.

Too much government is BAD.

It can be. However, "too much government" is an empty slogan, devoid of any
meaning. It's too much government when it exceeds its constitutional brief.
It's too much government when the benefits it provides are outstripped by
the costs necessary to maintain. It's not enough government when innocent
people are victimized and left without recourse.

With that said, I don't think Arnold or anyone can fix California's

problems
quickly, but Arnold might be a start...

Arnold may or may not be a very bright man. Arnold may or may not be a moral
man. I simply don't know. However, one thing I do know is that Arnold is
absolutely not is an experienced man when it comes to government. The
ability to govern means the ability to build consensus, administer large
enterprises, reconcile competing interests, and quite a few other skills
which have absolutely nothing to do with being a body builder or a movie
star. Ronald Regan, before he became governor, was president of the Screen
Actors Guild, and had been extremely active in politics for years before he
ran. Three months ago, Arnold was on Letterman promoting Terminator III.

Gray Davis...ugh!

There have been no credible accusations that Clinton ever had anything but
consensual relations with anyone.
