Interesting ... what prevents a terrorist from hiding an IED in his
stomach, or some other body cavity? What if it's a bomb that
detonates on contact with acid, and he encloses it in a membrane and
swallows it an hour before the flight? If the membrane dissolves in,
say, three hours, he explodes while the flight is over the Atlantic.
No gels or liquids required.

I thought about this last night. Given the extent to which the body would
diminish the effect of the bomb, perhaps a big enough device couldn't be
hidden that way.

a bomb could be hidden up a muslims butthole and have a timer attached
which disolves on eating a vindaloo curry and splatters the passengers
when it goes off

the baggage handlers at HRW and elsewhere will be thieving all the
phones and digital cameras galore ,nothing will be safe from them .

Would the body make much difference? It would depend on the explosive
power of the bomb.
