The problem in the US is that copyright is often controlled by
conglomerates, not the artist who created the work.

All the more reason to shorten the duration of copyright.

Look at the way the record industry is. They strong-arm artists into
one-sided contracts at one end and then lobby Congress to extend
copyrights and induce penalties for so-called copyright infringement on
the other end.

At least I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

Mixi? Original? WORK? Not bloody likely. Can you
imagine? Mixi doing real work? It's hilarious!

Apparently he works for no pay.
Maybe he should go in to some religious order.

Trappist?

No - he doesn't like beer. Probably doesn't like Belgium or
the Netherlands either.

So that's Benelux, Germany, America, Britain ... he doesn't like.

America ??
They don't sell beer over there

Quite to the contrary. Although most Europeans are exposed to the nasty
cheap mass-market swill that passes for "beer" in the USA, there are in
fact a *lot* of very small breweries that make very credible beers in
many styles. We have ales that would please British beer drinkers,
decent lagers, even special beers quite similar to Belgian styles.

Do you know of any outlets in New England ?

We also get imports in good shape from all over Europe.

If I want European Beer - I go to Europe :-)

Well, let's see. He claims to like people, but dislikes actually
interacting with real live humans. He probably also likes water, but
doesn't like drinking or touching it because it's wet. And of course,
he eats McDonald's and other fast-food hamburgers from time to time,
even though he claims not to eat meat.

I think there's a certain place in Paris getting regular deliveries
of extraordinarily powerful crack cocaine, if you know what I mean,
and I think you do.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking ?

Just last evening, I was enjoying a cask-conditioned barleywine
strength ale of exceptional character. Not a typical session beer
by any means, certainly, but a well-crafted, well-made beer made
in a city 300km south of where I live (which also has several
small breweries making well-crafted, well-made beers.)

We also get imports in good shape from all over Europe. I have
a bunch of them cooling right now in preparation for a tasting
session this evening.
