DIVERTED FLIGHT ON ITS WAY TO LONDON
Lesson, if you are dark skinned, stay seated, keep your hands
always in view and don't ever use the word Allah. **** DIVERTED FLIGHT ON ITS WAY TO LONDON Jul 26, 2005 BOSTON (AP) -- A United Airlines plane diverted to Boston earlier today has taken off for the rest of its flight to London, minus three Pakistani men who were on board. United Flight 934 from Los Angeles was diverted early this morning after the three Pakistani passengers were reported acting suspiciously. They were interviewed, and authorities found they posed no threat -- so they were released. They're continuing their trip on another flight. The F-B-I says other passengers had complained to the flight crew after the three men began walking between first class and coach. |

Yesterday, the Space Shuttle Orbiter "Discovery" lifted
of from the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida, in the United States. Twenty minutes later, it made an unscheduled landing in Bangor, Maine, as a Greek astronaut was taken off the vessel. He had gotten up to go to the loo, so the rest of thre crew assumed he was an Arab and were scared. A Brazilian astronaut withdrew his name from the flight crew of the next scheduled mission. Being a Brazilian, he deicided he did not want to be killed by the crew for the crime of being a Pakistani in a coat on a cool day; after all, unlike an infamous coat used recently on a cool day in London, space suits really DO have wires. |

Flight stewards or what? Apparently one man was sitting in coach, one in business and one in first class. http://www.boston.com/news/local/mas...stop_at_logan/ A spokesman for United Air Lines said the men ''were doing much more than just walking around" and alarmed the crew enough to notify the captain, but declined to provide details ''because that's considered sensitive information." (snip) David Stempler, president of the Air Travelers Association, said yesterday that diversions that turn out to be false alarms have been increasing nationwide. ''But we are in a state of war not of our own choosing, and you have to rely on perceptions that, at times, can create some inconvenience," he said. |

Collectively we are not in a state of war but a state of hysteria, terrorist's acts create a collective psychosis in which people not at risk get carried along. The Evleths may be in a state of hysteria (in France) but I (in the UK) certainly am not. JohnT |

To correct a misimpression, Gaston hates his "renal senior". It is also composed of small round pellets that he scatters around his dish (in obvious disgust), and we end up walking on this bare footed. On the other hand he will eat his "Biscrok" (déliceux biscuit croquant) more readily, it nothing else is forthcoming from our plates at dinner. It should be noted that "renal senior" appears to be an American product, I think most medicinal pet products are. As with all packaging in Europe, the packaging is in several languages. A typical compositions is; dehydrated animal protein, cooked serials, corn gluten, animal fats, vegie fibers, soybeans, linseed, sea salt, fruit sugars, vitamins, minerals, some anti-oxidants. That gives the impression of a well balanced diet, it might even be good for human beings. But tasty is apparently is not. I would class renal senior either American or British in that it represents a gastronomic crime against the canine peoples. Otherwise, Gaston has never been known to eat or want to eat English food. Senior renal has an Anglo-Saxon signature but I don't know which one! *http://www.liberation.fr/page.php?Article=313757 |
