I did a search of cruise ship ports in the Caribbean, and there's a dearth
of stops in Ocho Rios. Are the cruise lines cutting back on their stops
there?

Hi Skip,

The cruise lines have been signing some long term contracts to make
more stops at both Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.

Best regards,
Ray

Jamacia is not white-friendly. The coloureds there were very uppity! Even
the cow was upset!

Perhaps you should have taken your wife instead. We found the people at
Montego Bay very friendly~~perhaps it is how you treat them~I find being
polite and friendly always is reciprocated in same.

Ray, any idea when these contracts commence? Also, are there any smaller
ships that stop in Jamaica? Thanks!

With the very nice amenities of the present day ships why would anyone
want to get off a ship in Jamaica and subject themselves to vendors
dangling trinkets in your face, being approached by hookers, druggies
and the like while always having to exhibit situational awareness of
who is near you. It's like another wonderful day at sea to me--send
those turistas ashore so I can enjoy myself.
