airport shuttles in London?
"Darby Jo" wrote in message news Looking for any recommendations of good services as well as services to avoid to take us between LHR and central London. It doesn't really matter to me whether it's a private car or a shared shuttle. Between the four of us we'll undoubtedly have too much luggage for a regular taxi or the tube. Take 2 taxi's? London black cabs do have a great deal of luggage space, in the passenger cabin as well as the boot. If you are bringing as much as the airlines allow and not adding additional items you should be able to get by with one black cab. |

Eight big bags plus carry ons. Not a chance if they are taking the
maximum. Two taxi's would do but a car service would be cheaper. Now if they are traveling with less stuff then a taxi might make it for the same price. FFM I'm hoping it will be just one medium bag plus carry-on for each person but can't say for sure--it depends on how lightly I can convince my companions to pack! Darby Jo It was Mark who introduced "as much as the airlines allow". I suspect he was thinking of the minimal allowances for intra european services. You can probably fit it all in one cab. I don't know how comfortable it will be. FFM |

FFM Well I was thinking of piling it all up to head height and then more in the boot, I didn't say it would be comfortable! |
