Default Chinese Visa in Bangkok

I am planning to go to Thailand and, from there, to go to China, in
theYunnan area.

In this case I would ask for the Cinese Visa at the chinese embassy in
Bangkok.

Has anybody an experience about it ?
Do they issue tourist visa only to thai national or also to other people ?
How long does it take the process ?
Do they ask some paper like vouchers, hotel confirmations, invitations .....

many thanks to everybody

Ciao,
There is no problem getting a Chinese tourist visa from the embassy in
Bangkok no matter what your nationality. It is helpful if you have an
itinerary and plan for your travels in China. The waiting time is the
same as any other embassy- that is: how much money do you have. The
last time I got a visa from them it was either 3 days, 1 day or same
day (apply in morning and get visa in afternoon). Depends on how much
you want to pay.
Have a nice trip. I've been in China I think 5 times in the past 3
years and it always surprises me and is always an interesting
experience.
