Dogs not only can be trained to warn of an impending seizure, but can
lead their owners to a safe place. They will stay by the person until
the seizure passes and then lick the person's face to help reorient them
after a seizure. Of the breeds, poodles are the most reliable with labs
coming in a close second.

Interesting. I've noticed that my little schnoodle will alert me if my mom has
a problem standing up, or if she is not well, before my mother calls me (she
lives in my home). Casey will not leave my mom's side until someone gives her
the assistance she needs. She also sits by mom's door every morning, in front
of the bathroom door when mom is in there, as well as next to her at the
kitchen table. The poor little dog freaked out several times, when paramedics
had to come over, and they made me lock her up in another room.

I like to go to the cabin, put down the bags, go to the bathroom and/or
brush my teeth, go check out the buffet, and then go around the whole
ship while it is fairly empty to tour it and take photos.

also took your ID photo~~NOW
What is the very first thing that you do every time that you cruise?

I did that on the Star Princess and it was worth the extra time and effort not
having all the people around to clutter up your photos.

Lindsay & Jeff,
I usually take photos on a port day when most everyone has left early or
after we get back from shore and many are still gone. Seems less *people
activity* to deal with and by then I know what I want to be sure and get
photos of.
Too many *confused* people around trying to find their way around on
embarkation day for me! ;-) Often that includes moi!
