Can i use my European gsm in Nicaragua?

I don't think Nicaragua has GSM yet, I believe they are still TDMA.

However if you have a gateway phone (both TDMA & GSM) then you should be OK.

had a to buy a chip ( Enitel or PCS) I bought PCS cos it has a much wider
coverage.

You were right about not being able to use my own european provider, to buy
and charge a simcard was fine though and i was very satisfied with the
quality that PCS offered in the villages near masaya. I live in Masatepe
when i m in Nicaragua and it word very well.
