Losing confidence in Expedia
For US domestic flights, fares for a single airline trip are usually
cheaper on the airline's own website. For international flights, Expedia can sometimes give better fares but only to destinations that are generally covered by wholesale fares. Such destinations are Africa, South Asia, Middle East and possibly Latin America. If you are travelling from the US to say India, you would not buy a ticket directly from any airline. Cheapest tickets for India are from dedicated Indian travel agents throughout the US. Expedia can offer something similar in this case as well, and will advertise it as Expedia Special. |
