"I Am Not American" Web Site Adds Designs, Languages, Merchandise

No, my IP is not *exactly* the same as the original poster who used the website address as a name. Using my 'network' info, I can see my IP as provided by the DHCP server, and it's different. I know because I am required to enter my IP for some other things...and it's not that .205 or whatever it is. NNTP-Posting-Host: 207.6.32.205 Perhaps you're mixing up your ISP-assigned IP address with one that you're assigned by a local NAT router. miguel -- Hundreds of travel photos from around the world: http://travel.u.nu/ |

People in Ontario act and talk just like Americans. To the casual observer, sure. But to people who see foreigners all day long, it's pretty easy to pick them out. I've met many people who are uncanny in this ability. miguel -- Hundreds of travel photos from around the world: http://travel.u.nu/ |

Next time you're someplace with a substantial tourism-service street culture (guides, etc.) strike up a conversation with someone who's soliciting business and ask them to guess the nationalities of other tourists as they walk by. Then double-check with a few. I've done it, and I was impressed. miguel -- Hundreds of travel photos from around the world: http://travel.u.nu/ |

Combining obvious Americanness with a T-shirt disclaiming such would probably come off as pretty weird. I think a T-shirt that says, "No, I don't want an extended warranty!" might sell as well during the holidays. -- McWebber http://baseball.worldsbestdeals.com/spring_training/ Schedules Now Online |
