Paris
If you only have one day in Paris while on a cruise, take the tour the ship
offers that includes a luncheon boat ride on the Seine with a delicious lunch, wine, and views of many of the sights. After the boat ride, there is a bus and walking tour which allows you to visit some of the attractions. It is a little pricey but well worth it and you can absorb some of the flavor of Paris while doing it.
