Default Dakotas at 'epicenter' of U.S. drought

......
Brad Rippey, a federal Agriculture Department meteorologist in
Washington, said this year's drought is continuing one that started in
the late 1990s. "The 1999 to 2006 drought ranks only behind the
1930s and the 1950s. It's the third-worst drought on record -
period," Rippey said.

Well, that's appropriate, considering that the time of the Dust Bowl
had Hoover as president, and now we have someone who is equally
clueless regarding the economy.

So, you're suggesting that if there was an economist in office, it would
be raining?

Now, that's interesting.

The Dems think Karl Rove has supernatural powers.

Considering the fact that Bush has an MBA, your comment regarding
economists is rather bizarre. If he was competent, there *would* be
an economist in office, albeit one with only a few classes.

Now, that's interesting.

I wasn't suggesting anything, just pointing out yet another connection
with the dark days of the late 20s / early 30s

The Democrats are clueless, but they hardly think Rove has any such
powers. They are simply jealous of the most ruthless ******* ever
to advise a president. What Rove did to McCain in the primary
brands him forever as a complete asshole.
