Blessings on the Finns. Finland is arguably the most civilized nation on
the planet.

I don't know about that one way or another but it appears to me that
RCI may be having problems getting credit. Since the ship is being
built at a Finnish shipyard the Finns have a stake in having the ship
completed to keep the shipyard in business and workers employed. I
don't think they are financing the ship for altruistic reasons.....

I came across this article in the trades/news releases and thought you
might be interested.

Or maybe I stole it from Usenet. I can't remember.

The RMS Titanic sank on April 15th. US income taxes
are due on April 15th. Coincidence? I think not.

Except they eat Lutefisk and fermented herring. With the Finns owning a
piece of RCL the on board cuisine my become more than a tad bit
authentic Finn Food.

See my previous post. These fiendish Finns want to have a stake in what
gets served to cruisers. "Poolside treat of the day, fermented herring
or leutafisk!" Tonight in the Helsinki Lounge, the traditional "Fish
Slap Dance" and you thought that was a Monty Python invention.
