nice British train arrival/departure information program
This thing replicates what you get on the in-station teletext screens in British railway stations - also does the London tube and the Dublin DART: http://homepage.mac.com/balazsboros/tubetrack/ MacOS 9, MacOS X, Linux (can't remember if Windows was there as well). I tried the MacOS 9 version - the interface is very un-Mac-like (no quit option in the file menu) and I don't know if it would work for the blind via text-to-speech, but it's better than the station displays anyway. Freeware, 1 Mb download, needs an Internet connection. ======== Email to "j-c" at this site; email to "bogus" will bounce ======== Jack Campin: 11 Third Street, Newtongrange, Midlothian EH22 4PU; 0131 6604760 http://www.purr.demon.co.uk/purrhome.html food intolerance data & recipes, Mac logic fonts, Scots traditional music files and CD-ROMs of Scottish music. |
