Who owns the copyright on these photos?

Anyone posting ANYWHERE should watermark their pictures with a
copyright notice. It doesn't have to be big, but it should be there.

Why not? It's free advertisement for RCL. Next to word of mouth, is
photos of people, "just like us", enjoying their cruise. It's
advertising platinum.

The photos I put up there are my own. Save for the Adam Goldstien in
the bed with the models around him, that is public PR fodder RCI put
out.

I am using Picasa from Google to add watermarks to my photos, which
are many. The next rendition of the gallery program will include
watermarking built-in.

It is a hobby site to be sure, albeit an elaborate one. And no
question it is PR gold for RCI, and they've told me as much directly.
They sent me on Liberty of the Seas during its promotional runs out of
New York, but that was after I'd been at it for a couple of years.
And the site was good enough to have tipped a job interview in my
favor in seeking the totally non-cruise related position I have now in
e-commerce.

In any case, I really do work hard on the site and people seem to
enjoy it. Hope folks will drop by and take a look!

Nathan

A number of us from here at RTC went on that LibertyOTS pre inaugural
sailing from Bayonne as well... we even had a thread about it here. You
should have said something back then, we all met on board the ship and had
dinner together each night.

I actually recall the thread, but until the last second there was some
question as to if I'd make it or now. Thankfully I have a new and
vastly better position that would let me escape for such
opportunities.

I got some really great pictures, considering the age of the camera
taking them.

You'd be surprise how many professional photojournalists use old and
even rebuilt cameras.

Indeed, the camera most of my pictures had been taken with was the
Olympus D-500L, .850 mega pixels, bought in 1997. Very nice large
glass lens.
