Seriously, I thought the concrete weenie sticking off the building
located close to the slaves' brothel indicated that it too was a
brothel, but the pictures of weenies painted on the buidlings were
indeed there to ward off evil. (Perhaps its reminded them of having to
work so hard to support the children?)

We stayed in Sorrento, and did the day trip to each. We liked H better than
P, but recommend P first, and it does take a day. Then do a 1/2 day at H on
another day. P is a lot confusing, as the audio tour sucks. Lots of
similar ruins. Book with a guide may be better.

I tend to agree with the audioguide but would recommend it knowing this:

Be prepared for a lot of exposition. Skip it or listen to on the way
to the next stop.

Also, the sequence of sites in the audioguide makes your re-cross your
path over an over again. Very inefficient, so start early. I don't
remember if in retrospect I could have done the audio guide out of
sequence by knowing what number to type in next.
