Many years ago, a friend's buddy was a ferry pilot for an aircraft maker -- he delivered new planes to distant airports, then caught a commercial flight home. As I recall the story, he'd brought his parachute onto a commercial flight as a carryon, instead of stuffing it in a duffel. He was asked by the crew not to do it again, as it made the other passengers a bit nervous... g |
