when and how long to visit taiwan?
hi,
am planning to go to taiwan next 2010 since airasia giving cheap prices. 1. when is the better time to visit taiwan? mid-sept to early oct? or late-oct to mid-november? i'm not into typhoons, so it's better to choose time when there is less typhoons how's the waether like at that time? 2. how many days are needed to explore taiwan? i still don't know where to go, but i plan to visit hot spring and do some snorkling at beach. is 1 week is enough? or better 2 weeks? 3. how is english language used at taiwan? i can't speak chinese and i'll go alone, so language will be the biggest barrier. thanks! _____________________ http://www.waytovietnam.com Vietnam vacation, vietnam resort http://www.tracevietnam.com Saigon Travel Guide http://www.waytohalong.com Halong Cruise, Cruise Halong bay Vietnam |

Later in the year you leave it the cooler it gets. We were there in August
this year - and 'enjoyed' Typhoon Morakot. 1 week is just barely enough time to view the highlights. Two weeks and you'll see more stuff in depth - in fact that's also enough time for a tour of the whole island. English is understood sufficiently for you to have an enjoyable time. The people are very hospitable - and go out of their way to help tourists. Food is great. Night markets unmissable. In Taipei - use the 'Metro'. Buy an 'Easycard'. It covers all public transport in the city. The metro is fast, a/c, on time and efficient. Taxis in Taipei are also metered, cheap and honest (unusually for Asia!!). Have Fun. We did!!! October and November are probably the best months to visit the north Taiwan. Any time from October to March is probably a good time to visit other parts of Taiwan.
Here I am extracting a whether |
