French school holidays?

We read (I think in Rick Steves) that French school children have a
holiday the last week of October. Is it the last full week or literally
the last 7 days? Would this impact a visit to Paris? Thanks, Helen

School children in Paris are on vacation during the week or so
preceding All Saints' Day. Last year this was from October 22 to
November 3.
