MINYIP

Is it a feasable idea while I stay in a suburb of Melbourne to vist Minyip
around the middle of December and perhaps stay there for a week or so ? Is
there much to see, cheap to eat etc ?

Wonder if you know what the hotel is like assuming there is only one ? Can I
book a room wirthout notice I wonder ?

I doubt there would be too many people these days who are interested enough
in the Flying Doctors to make the trip to Minyip.
The town is small enough to see everything in about 2 hours. The hotel/motel
is stock standard Australian country and as such relatively cheap. It would
be sensible to book beforehand. Travel to Minyip can be by bus from
Melbourne. In the middle of December it will be getting rather warm!
