The terrorists now know a Fruit of the Boom bomb will no longer
get past the TSA rub downs. It does not take much imagination
for a suicidal maniac bomber to jam said bomb up where the sun
dont shine.

Here is an interesting proposed solution, not likely factual:
""Subject: : Airport security

I just love it when someone comes up with something really smart.

The Israelis are developing an airport security device that eliminates the
privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners at the airports.

Its a booth you step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any
explosive device you may have on you.

The inventors see this as a win-win for everyone, with none of this crap
about racial profiling. It also would eliminate the costs of a long
expensive trials as justice would be swift.
Viola! Case closed!
The airlines and passengers would also reap another important benefit.
Passengers in the airport terminal and would hear a muffled explosion.
Shortly
thereafter an announcement would be heard over the PA system . . .
"Attention standby passengers - we now have a seat available on flight
number XXXX.
Shalom!"
Hats off to the Israelis!!!

Anyone recall the story that circulated some months ago about the
Israelis at some land border crossing (allegedly) confiscating the Mac
computer of a young woman activist whom they disliked, putting it in a
heavily shielded box, and machine-gunning it, on the grounds that it
might contain a bomb?

Never figured out if that was a true story, or just more Internet
misinformation -- striking photos of a Mac full of bullet holes, however.

It turned out the young lady in question both refused to switch it on
AND was on her way to Gaza for a chat with that well known set of
murderous *******s Hamas.

The authorities assumed, with some justification, that she was up to
no good...

Ever heard of connecting flights? Or in this case, flying to one place
and then taking another plane to a location prohibited by the
originating country.
Like an American flying to Mexico to go to Cuba.
I doubt if there are direct flights from the US to Iran but reporters
keep showing up there.

Well i'll fly over to Gaza then, wonder why all these people cannot get
their stuff into the territory, digging tunnels or trying by sea...
Simple to fly to Gaza international airport, huh ?
