Default San Juan -- What to do with luggages?

We cruised out of San Juan in December and were happily surprised when
American Airlines said they would check our bags immediately since we
were cruise passengers (checked in at 10:00 AM for a 3:00 PM flight).
I'd recommend you take your luggage to the airport and check in, then
go have fun!

BTW - this NEVER happened in Florida. We were always told there that
we couldn't check our bages until 2 hours before the flight!

Hi all,

Since the ship usually docks back to San Juan early in the morning and
our flight is late in the afternoon, are there locker or something that we
can use to keep the luggage while we hang out in town? We probably don't
want to drag the luggage around for the whole day ;-)

Thanks all for the tips.

I'll be flying Delta (and/or whatever airlines operating it) so I guess
I should call them up and see if they'd do what AA did for you.
