Default MIA Port and Enterprise Car Rental ?

On last years "Mississippi Queen" cruise (Fleeing Hurricane "Ivan") we
used Enterprise Rental Car in Memphis. As the port for Delta Queen in
Memphis is a parking lot... Enterprise was great as the pick you up and
take you to the rental location.

Do they do this at the Miami port too? Any first hand experience ?

In Memphis the franchised location that picked us up was so desperate
for cars he took us to the airport for free, rather then us turning it
in there.

MIA does have a Enterprise drop off location, right ?

When we got off Navigator OTS last Sat, I saw couple of Enterprise
shuttle buses picking up customers at the pier. We did not rent from
then and have no idea where their their rental outlet is.

Enterprise has a couple of locations in Miami. If you rent from the
location close to the cruise ship dock (300 BISCAYNE BLVD. WAY STE. 5,
MIAMI FL 33131 1-800-325-8007), they will come and pick you up at the
ship and will let you drop the car off at the airport. The airport
location costs more and you get a better price through Expedia than
you can get in person.

Thanx for the info... just what I was looking for.

Yes, renting from airports is more expensive... as much as 25% more.
For this cruise we are forced to arrive the day of departure so we will
just cab it to the port from MIA. Returning we will take an extra
night.

Thanx again.
