This sounds so much different from the scenarios of 1998-2003:
- the Euro will keep on falling and falling
- the Euro will lead to exorbitant inflation rates
- the Euro will be abolished again after a few years.

Britain abolish left-hand traffic, the monarchy or Imperial measures.

Why not pick on Denmark and Sweden as well? They haven't adopted the
euro, and still have monarchies...

Why not pick on Denmark and Sweden as well? They haven't adopted the
euro, and still have monarchies...

I've never been there, and I believe that both countries are not so
tradition-oriented as the UK.

Will they adopt the anti-smoking laws of some Euro countries like the
UK?

I don't mean that wishy-washy excuse for smoking legislation they
currently have... about as useful as Spain's.

The Dutch law is full of loop holes too.

As bad? Any major one that would affect a casual (what other kind is

Because they didn't want their economic policies in the hands of the
French and German. Particularly the monetary ones.
