Default Pound and Euro to reach parity within 18 months


And it won't stop there. The British Pound will fall below the value
of the Euro and settle there for as long as it exists (not very long
considering that the Pound will bring no advantages to the British and
will end up adopting the Euro by popular demand).

This sounds so much different from the scenarios of 1998-2003:
- the Euro will keep on falling and falling
- the Euro will lead to exorbitant inflation rates
- the Euro will be abolished again after a few years.

....sorry, not for the pound. Britain probably won't abolish it, nor will
Britain abolish left-hand traffic, the monarchy or Imperial measures.

The reason: "you see, that's one of our traditions!"

Why not pick on Denmark and Sweden as well? They haven't adopted the
euro, and still have monarchies...

Why not pick on Denmark and Sweden as well? They haven't adopted the
euro, and still have monarchies...


I've never been there, and I believe that both countries are not so
tradition-oriented as the UK.

Let's wait and see?
