What kind of malaria tablets should we be needing in Mombasa in October?

You should ask at your doctor`s surgery or travel clinic. It could be
Lariam, Malarone or some people take Doxycycline. I would take Malarone
although they are expensive they are said to have few, if any, side
effects.

I'm off to Mombassa in October too and Malarone is my preferred drug. Took
it last year in Gambia and had no side effects.

That`s good information for the original poster. Tell me, were you
able to find your Malarone at a reasonable price? The cost of the
tablets is quite expensive.
