Warren I noticed that too. Oh well. Just wish people would remember to wash their hands and not touch the food on the buffet with their hands. That's what the tongs are for. In over 30 cruises, I've never had a bout with the Noro Virus. I don't think any of my 'smart' cruise friends have either. Amateurs drive me crazy. ;-) JR -- "We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are." - The Talmud "People demand the freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid" - Kierkegaard "Software without support is hardware" - JR/1999 |

I came down with the virus on a RCCL ship a few years back. I am always careful with personal hygene wile cruising. The RCCL medical staff did a great job getting me back on my feet again, although the cruise was over when I was feeling better. The doctor told me I probably picked it up by pushing the elevator buttons while aboard. After a shot in the butt and some oral meds I was felling better after a day, although I was confined to my cabin during the time. Eddie |

On all most all our cruises(49) we have noticed people using the
bathroom facilities and then leaving without washing their hands, to my up bringing this is a dirty habit. It only takes an extra minuet to wash your hands after using the john. Once on NCL i reminded a women to wash her hands ,and in no uncertain language she told me to mind my own business,my husband said most all the men never washed their hands either. and this is even more disgusting. We also carry our own hand sanitizer, because they do not always make you use it upon entering the restaurants,or food buffet cruise lover(~~~~~) .. |

There must have been over 100 hand-sanitizer dispensers all over the ship! Didn't hear about anyone sick on the cruise. |

Eddie I've never had it on a cruise, Eddie, but I got it one Thanksgiving at my son's house. We'd gone to a shopping center and that's probably where I was exposed.
