Holland America Line---a couple of questions
We are seriously considering an Eastern Mediterranean cruise on HAL this
summer. 1 Do they have something equivalent to Princess' anytime dining? 2. Are excursions paid for when you book them (like on Royal Caribbean) or do they get charged on your cruise card (like Princess)? |

Holland America Line---a couple of questions

1 Do they have something equivalent to Princess' anytime dining? Not sure if it is fleetwide yet, but yes. The lower level of the dining room is open seating. The upper is traditional. You might want to spend time browsing through HAL's website. 2. Are excursions paid for when you book them (like on Royal Caribbean) Yes. And I'm still not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. On the one hand, if you pay ahead of time you've got everything budgeted. If the cruise line charges it to your cabin once aboard, you can take advantage of any onboard credits you've been given.
